The company first started up in central Tuscany, renting farmhouses and villas in tuscany in the countryside near Siena and the Elsa valley.There are several resident representatives in Italy, each of whom lives less than two hours drive from almost all the villas. While, naturally they cannot see everyone, they are no further than a 'phone call away for any help and advice you may need. The Villas and farmhouses are mainly in Tuscany, though we also have properties in Rome, and in Umbria.

South
of Siena lies one of the most beautiful areas in Tuscany,
an area less well known than Chianti
and full of traces of the ancient Etruscans. Old etruscan city ruins,
thermal baths, beautiful hill top towns are everywhere, as well as mysterious
deep cut etruscan roads, carved out of tufa. The coast is dotted with
small bays and coves, lined with umbrella pines and small shacks turned
into good fish restaurants. See our properties in the area of South
of Siena. Even further south on enters Lazio,
the region that has Rome as its capital, and here the remains shift from
etruscan to Roman, with amphiheatres, temples and ancient villas hidden
in the stunning. beautiful landscape.
Central
Tuscany remains one of the favourite places to visit - between
Siena (which is
often mis-spelled as Sienna) and Florence,
along the Elsa valley which marks the old pilgrimageroute from the north
of Europe towards Rome. It is dotted with churches, cathedrals,
museums
- all reached by the winding roads that connect the hill towns. Here you
can find apartments to rent in
the villages, allowing you to taste village life, with the
advantages of stepping outside your door to reach bars, restaurants and
shops. This is an ideal holiday for somebody who wants to really experience
life in Italy, and see the life that buzzes outside throughout the whole
of summer. If you want a private
villa with a swimming pool to really relax and get away from
everything, there are fantastic houses with nothing around for miles,
where relaxation and privacy are the keywords.
CAR HIRE
Our properties are mostly in positions that make a car essential. After many years' experience of the ability of various car models to cope with the sometimes rough tracks, we have come to the conclusion that the type of car that travels fastest and best on these roads is - a hired car!
